Phalaenopsis orchids, made into stud earrings that rest close to the ear.
Each petal is carved and raised one by one, the same as our hook earrings. One petal opens upward, the rest spread below, settling naturally along the line of the ear. Because the flower faces forward on the earlobe, it suits any ear shape, and sits well whether your hair is up or down.
Three colours are available: silver in SV925, K18 yellow gold coating, and platinum coating. The platinum coating is a white with a faint touch of grey. It does not throw light back sharply, but receives it quietly. It resists fading, and asks little in daily care. For those who prefer cooler tones, this white may sit most easily.
A small flower, but placed at the ear, its outline reads clearly near the cheek.
